Unlike traditional sources of car hire at Gerona Airport, there is no credit card deposit on arrival to pay for bodywork damage during the car hire. Some multinational car hire companies (and indeed several of Europe's biggest car hire brokers) expect you to pay as much as £ 800.00 if you damage the car ... remember we're called all-inclusive-car-hire.com because if the car's bodywork is damaged during the rental, there's not a dime to pay!

All car hire insurances with NO excess value!
Our car hire rates are inclusive of all required car hire vehicle insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) at Gerona Airport and have no car hire insurance excess, this means that there is no credit card deposit on arrival at Gerona Airport against damage to the car hire vehicle's bodywork and in the event of bodywork damage to the car hire vehicle (like dented panels not : tyres glass wheels etc see below) there is no renter responsibility.

Our car hire rates at Gerona Airport are fully inclusive of local sales taxes (16.00% in Spain).
Arrival times for your car hire.
Our car hire rates include 24 hour car hire service at Gerona Airport with no surcharge for late or night time car hire arrivals. When we confirm your car hire reservation at Gerona Airport, we'll require your arrival flight number into Gerona Airport. (At Malaga or Alicante Airports, surcharges for night-time arrival may apply to cars sourced off-aiport, please consult your car hire voucher for final details).
Fuel is not included at Gerona Airport!
The fuel that you consume during your car hire is obviously not included in our our published car hire rates! On arrival at Gerona Airport, you will be asked to prepay a full tank of fuel. At the end of the hire, simply return the car hire vehicle back to the car hire station at Gerona Airport as empty as possible.
Lost car hire vehicle keys.
Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the car hire vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately EUR 120.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday car hire at Gerona Airport may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your car hire vehicle. Please take good care of the car hire vehicle key while you're on holiday in Spain!
Using the wrong fuel type for your car hire vehicle.
Putting gasoline into a diesel car (or vice versa) requires the engine to be stripped down and cleaned. If you put the wrong fuel into the car hire vehicle at Gerona Airport, expect a hefty garage bill and several days with your car "off-the-road" while the car is repaired.
Blow-outs are at your own risk
If you have a puncture during the rental the car hire company will hold you responsible for the repair/replacement cost. All our cars are delivered with a road-worthy set of tyres which are inspected prior to each delivery. Typically, bad parking or driving off-road are the most common causes of punctures during a rental period.

Off-road or negligent use.
Our car hire vehicles at Gerona Airport are rented for use on the public highways of Spain. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the car hire vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Gerona Airport (we have had occasion to have to lift car hire vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.
Traffic fines.
Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your car hire vehicle at Gerona Airport are at your own risk.
Vehicle glass & locks.
It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Spain, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the car hire vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the car hire vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the car hire vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle's underside.
Damage to the vehicle's underside is the responsibility of the renter. Although a very rare ocurrance, damage caused by driving off-road, impacts from rocks or other items to the underside can cause considerable damage to the vehicle. If this situation arises, you will be responsible for the repair costs.
Infant Seats
Infant seats are suitable for new-born babies until approximately 6 months of age. Infant seats are normally available on car hire vehicles from Gerona Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Gerona Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Baby
Baby seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Gerona Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Gerona Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Booster Seats
Booster seats are suitable for young children from approximately 2 years until 5 years of age. Booster seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Gerona Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Gerona Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Additional Drivers
You may add additional drivers to your car hire on arrival in Gerona Airport. These are payable locally at Gerona Airport at EUR 2.50 per day.
Cross border charges
You can take your car hire vehicle from Gerona Airport to tour outside of Spain. Vehicles rented at Gerona Airport can visit France but require additional insurance as follows You must however return to the car hire company station specified on your car hire voucher in Spain at the end of the car hire period. You may not rent vehicles one-way from Spain, leaving them in another country.
